RNase A stock (DNase-free)
RNase A is an endoribonuclease that attacks at the 3’-phosphate of a pyrimidine nucleotide. The highest activity is exhibited with single-stranded RNA. RNase A is a single chain polypeptide containing 4 disulfide bridges. RNase A is used for the purification of RNase-free DNA, for the removal of non-hybridized regions of RNA:DNA-hybrids or as a molecular weight marker.
